Chalices

The chalice represents the Lady, the feminine principle of the Divine. Its cup shape reminds us of the soft curves of the feminine form, and its ability to hold the sacred wine or other beverage reminds us of the abundance of Mother Earth who feeds us from the rich dark soil that is her flesh.

Here are a variety of chalices, ranging from the simple to the ornate. You will want to choose one that will harmonize with the rest of your ritual implements to create a sense of unified wholeness during rituals, to better attune yourself and the other members of the circle to the Sacred.

Chalice, Silver Plated, Pentagram, 5" tall

A small chalice of classical simplicity, its only ornamentation a pentagram engraved upon its side, it is particularly suitable for home altars and small, intimate rituals.

Pentagram Chalice Drinking Goblet

Another small, understated chalice, it includes a somewhat more ornate ribbed stem.

Dragon Claw Chalice

An ornate chalice of highly sculptural form. You may want to reserve it primarily for a permanent altar display in your home, or for very special rituals such as ones commemorating important rites of passage.

Skull Goblet

Particularly suitable for rituals for Samhain, when we acknowledge the completion of the natural cycle of the seasons and say farewell to another growing season, this chalice includes a base wrought with the images of skulls around the clear glass globe which will permit the color of the wine within to shine through.

Dragon Goblet

Like the Skull Goblet above, it features an ornate sculptural base supporting a clear glass globe. In this case, the base takes the form of a dragon with his wings outspread to support the globe, his mouth open and snarling in rage as he clutches a gem to his breast with one claw.
