Altar Tables
In most pagan traditions, any table of suitable size may be used as an altar. Some home altars are even set up on a shelf, either a wall-mounted single shelf or an upper shelf of a credenza or set of bookshelf.
However, it may be particularly useful to have a small folding table designated specifically to serve as an altar for outdoor events, particularly if one is traveling any distance or attending gatherings.
Large Pentagram Altar Table
A three-legged table of sheesham wood (similar to teak) engraved on top with the pentagram emblem surrounded by a delicate tracery. Particularly suitable for an altar at a permanent location, for instance a larger home altar or one at a permanent gathering site. However, it can be transported for use at remote locations.
Eucalyptus Outdoor Garden Folding Table
This larger table is particularly suitable for large outdoor rituals where it is important to have an altar of a size sufficient to be seen clearly by all in a large circle. It folds flat for ease of transport, so you don't have to worry about fitting it into your vehicle for a trip to a distant gathering. In addition, it is made out of Eucalyptus wood, which has the durability of tropical hardwoods but is sufficiently fast-growing that it is farmed in Australia and other suitable areas and is thus environmentally friendly. Because it is unadorned, you will probably want to cover it with an altar cloth for ritual purposes.
